VivoAquatics Launches Smart Water Usage and Leak Detection Platform

VivoAquatics, a leading water management solution company, has introduced a new smart water usage and leak detection platform aimed at helping facilities and portfolios meet corporate conservation targets while reducing the risks and costs associated with leaks. The platform integrates water meters, sensors, and software to monitor water usage across various core facility functions such as main lines, cooling towers, irrigation, kitchen, pools, and spa areas.

By utilizing this platform, properties and portfolios can establish baseline usage targets, benchmark water use and costs, and receive alerts for leaks or excessive water usage due to operational errors. The platform employs IoT sensors to accurately pinpoint the location of water leaks, providing timely data for facility managers and engineers.

Richard Lindhorn, vice president of VivoAquatics, highlighted the benefits of the new cloud-based technology, stating that it revolutionizes water management by combining sensors and data analysis tools in one platform. The platform, now part of VivoPoint, ensures proactive risk mitigation of leaks and seamless compliance with regulatory standards, allowing properties to stay vigilant and address facility concerns promptly.

The platform utilizes a secure wireless cellular gateway to connect water meter sensors for real-time data collection. The data is integrated into the VivoPoint application for instant review, predictive analytics, and identification of areas for improvement or optimization. This advancement follows the recent launch of Blu, an artificial intelligence solution by VivoAquatics designed to provide personalized guidance for managing water across facilities.

VivoAquatics serves leading hospitality, real estate, fitness, and REIT brands such as Hilton, MGM Resorts International, and Marriott International, offering smart water solutions to address water safety, conservation, compliance, and cost concerns.
