Wazer Pro is now offering more affordable desktop water jetting solutions

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Wazer, the company that revolutionized water jet cutting with its desktop-sized machine, has announced the launch of the Wazer Pro, an upgraded version of its popular cutter. The original Wazer machine, launched in 2016, quickly gained popularity and saw success in over 60 countries, with customers ranging from small workshop owners to major corporations like SpaceX and Tesla.

The new Wazer Pro addresses feedback from users, offering more power, productivity, and the ability to cut thicker materials. With over twice the cutting power of its predecessor, the Wazer Pro can handle materials like aluminum, glass, plastic, tile, and even up to ⅜-inch thick steel. Priced at $18,999, the Wazer Pro remains significantly more affordable than traditional water jet cutters, making high-precision cutting accessible to a wider range of users and applications.

The company’s co-founder, Nisan Lerea, describes the Wazer Pro as a 21st-century version of the band saw, reinventing a tool that has remained largely unchanged for over a century. The new machine boasts minimal maintenance requirements and features an advanced abrasive collection system, increasing productivity for users.

Wazer’s growth has been impressive, with the company now employing around 40 people and operating between New York and Shenzhen, China. Since becoming profitable in 2019, Wazer has been able to fund its operations and development internally, allowing for continued innovation in the water jet space.

Looking ahead, Wazer envisions a comprehensive product line of water jets tailored to various applications and user needs, further solidifying its position as a leader in the industry. With the launch of the Wazer Pro, the company continues to disrupt the water-cutting market and make high-precision cutting more accessible and affordable for users worldwide.
