In a thrilling baseball matchup, the Wilmington Wildcats dominated the Coal City team with a final score of 9-2 in an Illinois Central Eight Conference victory on Wednesday. Zach Ohlund was the star player of the game, going 2 for 3 with four RBIs and a run scored. Ryan Kettman also had a strong performance, going 2 for 5 with two runs scored, while Kyle Farrell struck out nine batters through six innings.

In another exciting game, Lincoln-Way West secured a 10-4 victory over Lockport in just six innings.
