OpenAI, the company behind the popular ChatGPT, has unveiled its latest and most capable generative AI model, GPT-4o. This new model, named GPT-4o (o stands for Omni), comes with multimodal capabilities, allowing it to reason across text, voice, images, and video. It is available for both Plus and free users, but OpenAI has limited the number of queries on free accounts. Once the limit is reached, the chatbot will switch back to the previous GPT-3.5 model.

In other tech news, Google announced several updates at its annual I/O developers conference. One of the highlights was the unveiling of Gemini 1.5 Pro, Google’s latest generative AI model. This new model, available for Advanced subscribers, supports up to 1 million token context windows and offers exclusive features. It is now available in over 150 countries and supports 35 languages.
