West Hartford High Schools Ranked in Top 10 in Latest U.S. News Report – We-Ha

West Hartford’s Hall High School and Conard High School have once again proven their excellence by securing top spots in the 2024 U.S. News & World Report ranking of public high schools. Both schools were ranked among the top schools in Connecticut, with Hall High School making a significant leap to No. 6 in the state, up from No. 11 last year, while Conard High School maintained its position at No. 10.

Superintendent Paul Vicinus expressed his pride in the achievement, attributing it to the dedication of teachers and staff, as well as the exceptional PK-12 programming across all schools in the district. The rankings are a testament to the commitment to excellence in education in West Hartford.

Hall High School was ranked No. 362 nationally, while Conard High School followed closely behind at No. 564 out of nearly 18,000 schools surveyed. Both schools received A-plus level grades, with Hall High School scoring 97.95 and Conard High School scoring 96.81.

The rankings were based on various factors including AP exam participation and performance, college curriculum breadth, graduation rate, and proficiency in state assessments. Both schools demonstrated high levels of achievement across these metrics, showcasing their commitment to academic excellence.

In addition to Hall and Conard, other Hartford County high schools such as Simsbury High School and Farmington High School also made it to the top 10 in Connecticut. The rankings serve as a testament to the quality of education provided by these schools and the dedication of students and educators in West Hartford.
