Stewart Maginnis, global director of the Nature-based Solutions Group at the International Union for Conservation of Nature, emphasized the importance of NBS in addressing climate change. He stated that while efforts like decommissioning power stations and shifting to electric vehicles will take time, NBS offer a real and readily available complement to these actions.
