Two teenagers have made it onto Forbes’ World’s Billionaires List for 2024, making them the youngest of the richest individuals in the world. Clemente Del Vecchio, aged 19, and Livia Voigt, also 19, have inherited their wealth from their families’ successful businesses.

Del Vecchio’s net worth comes from his father, Leonardo Del Vecchio, the founder of EssilorLuxottica, the world’s largest producer and retailer of glasses and frames. He currently owns a 12.5% stake in Delfin, a Luxembourg-based holding company, which he inherited after his father’s passing in 2022. Delfin also holds shares in various other large companies, including banks.

On the other hand, Voigt is the leading shareholder of WEG Industries, a Brazilian manufacturer of electric motors founded by her grandfather in 1961. Despite her wealth, Voigt is currently a student and does not have an active role in the company.

Forbes reported that there are 25 billionaires aged 33 or younger on the 2024 list, with a combined net worth of $110 billion. While most of these young billionaires inherited their wealth, there are a few self-made individuals among them. The complete list of the youngest billionaires and the methodology used to calculate their worth can be found on Forbes’ official website.
