However, they bounced back in the second game with a goal from Jacob Jastrzebski and solid goaltending from Max Beckford.
The game remained tied at 1-1 until the shootout, where the Windigo emerged victorious after Daniil Dolzhenko scored the winning goal. Coach Blake Hietala praised the team’s effort, especially highlighting the performance of depth players like Braydon Beahm and Elliot Gulley.
