Winners of the 2024 BAFTA TV Awards Revealed

The BAFTA TV Awards were a night of celebration for the British television industry, with “Happy Valley” and “Top Boy” emerging as big winners. Sarah Lancashire took home the award for best leading actress for her role in “Happy Valley,” while Timothy Spall won the best leading actor award for “The Sixth Commandment.”

The awards ceremony also saw 17 first-time nominees in the performance categories, including well-known actors like David Tennant, Hannah Waddingham, and Elizabeth Debicki.

The event was hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, who entertained the audience with their light comedy. The night also featured celebrity presenters like Jeff Goldblum, Lashana Lynch, and Martin Freeman.
