Chicago Woman’s Viral Birthday Cake Mishap at Walmart

Peyton Chimack, a Chicago area-based woman, recently went viral on TikTok after sharing a hilarious cake mishap she experienced at her local Walmart. In a post that has garnered over 703,000 views, Chimack showcased a cake she ordered for her birthday, requesting the words “Aries Baby” to be written in small, cursive, and in the middle of the cake.

However, the cake decorator took her instructions quite literally and ended up writing “(small, cursive, middle of cake)” in large black lettering under the intended message. Chimack was shocked when she saw the cake, stating, “When I tell you my mouth dropped when I got in the car and opened up the cake.”

Despite the mistake, Chimack found humor in the situation and shared the mishap with her followers, who couldn’t help but laugh at the erroneous cake decor. She even went back to the store to point out the error to the cake decorator, who was initially confused about what went wrong.

Eventually, Chimack had the cake fixed and shared the corrected version with her viewers in a follow-up video. While Walmart has not yet responded to requests for comment on the incident, Chimack took the mishap in stride, writing in the caption, “She did the best she could.”

The viral cake mishap serves as a reminder to always be specific when ordering customized items, as sometimes, taking instructions too literally can lead to unexpected results.
