Women’s Tennis Advances to Super Regionals on the Strength of Singles Dominance

Despite losing the doubles point in a close match, the Waves bounced back in singles play with impressive performances from their players. Standout victories from Vivian Yang, Savannah Broadus, Janice Tjen, and Lisa Zaar secured the win for Pepperdine.

The Waves’ win marked their 18th consecutive postseason victory at Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center, earning them the opportunity to host crosstown rivals #11 USC in the Super Regional next Friday. The upcoming match promises to be a thrilling showdown between the two powerhouse teams.
