Workday Introduces Latest AI Services at DevCon 2024

Workday, a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, is making waves in the AI space with the launch of new AI services aimed at boosting business efficiency and value for its customers and partners.

Matt Grippo, Workday’s senior vice president of core software, emphasized the company’s commitment to driving the enterprise AI revolution by not only innovating internally but also enabling AI innovation for others. The new offerings, unveiled through the Workday AI Gateway, include skills analysis, document intelligence services, Intelligent Answers, HCM Recommender, and Data Query.

The Workday AI Marketplace, now available, provides customers with access to a variety of AI solutions from Workday and its partners. Damien Taylor, chief technology officer of Workday practice at Kainos, highlighted the marketplace’s significance in facilitating the discovery of responsible AI solutions that enhance the Workday platform’s value.

Workday Extend Professional users can access the AI Gateway, while early adopter customers can expect to try out Intelligent Answers, HCM Recommender, and Data Query this month. Workday Extend Developer Copilot will be available to early adopters next month.

With over 15 AI partner solutions already in the marketplace, Workday is poised to revolutionize business processes and decision-making in various areas such as accounting, contracts, fraud detection, recruiting, and skills transformation.
