World No-Tobacco Day 2024: Tips for Maintaining Healthy Lungs as a Passive Smoker

As World No Tobacco Day approaches on May 31, the focus shifts not only to the dangers of active smoking but also to the often overlooked risks of passive smoking, also known as secondhand smoke. This harmful exposure occurs when non-smokers inhale the smoke exhaled by smokers or from burning tobacco products.

CEO & Certified Yoga Instructor, Saurabh Bothra, highlights the severe health consequences of secondhand smoke, including respiratory infections, lung cancer, heart disease, and decreased lung function. To combat these risks, individuals can adopt healthy habits to restore and maintain lung health.
