Xiaomi, the popular handset maker, is all set to launch its new Civi series smartphone in India. In a clever marketing move, Xiaomi released a 24-second video taking a dig at Apple’s recent “Crush” ad. The video starts off similarly, with a hydraulic press descending, but instead of crushing objects, it breaks down itself to reveal the text “Cinematic Vision, coming soon.” With the first two letters of each word in red font, the teaser hints at the upcoming Civi series smartphone from Xiaomi.

Meanwhile, Samsung India has introduced a design thinking and training workshop in select schools as part of its “Solve for Tomorrow” program. The workshop aims to enhance essential skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity among students through the Human-Centered Design Thinking framework. This one-day workshop is tailored for India and encourages students to identify and solve real-world problems.

In other news, the price of the upcoming Apple iPhone SE 4 has been tipped to be slightly higher than its predecessor, but still under $499. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be launched in 2025, with an estimated US price. Additionally, Qualcomm announced the launch of the Snapdragon Dev Kit for Windows at Microsoft Build.
