Zain Celebrates Future Entrepreneurs at INJAZ’s Annual Competition

Kuwait City, May 18: Zain recently honored the winners of the Most Innovative Product award at the INJAZ Company Program Competition 2024, showcasing their commitment to empowering young Kuwaiti entrepreneurs. The event, held at the American University of the Middle East, saw the recognition of RHYTHMi and Solution Seekers as the top teams in the university and high-school categories, respectively.

Zain’s Corporate Sustainability Manager, Loulwah Alasfour, expressed pride in supporting the competition, which is part of the telecom company’s long-standing partnership with INJAZ Kuwait. This collaboration, spanning 19 years, aims to nurture the creative skills of youth and foster their entrepreneurial spirit.

The judging panel, led by Zain Group Digital Solutions Director Ali Dashti, comprised industry experts who evaluated the students’ final pitches and selected the winners. The competition provides a platform for university and high school students to develop essential business skills and gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship.

Through its partnership with INJAZ Kuwait, Zain continues to invest in the next generation of business leaders by offering world-class training programs. INJAZ Kuwait, a nonprofit organization affiliated with Junior Achievement Worldwide, has impacted over 100,000 students from various educational institutions through its business programs.

The annual Company Program competition not only equips students with the tools to establish and manage their startups but also connects them with corporate volunteers who share their expertise. By fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, Zain and INJAZ Kuwait are shaping a brighter future for Kuwait’s youth.
