Zscaler Welcomes Seasoned Finance Executive James Beer to its Board of Directors

Zscaler, Inc., a leading cloud security company, has announced the appointment of James Beer to its Board of Directors and the audit committee. With his extensive experience in finance, team strategy, operations, and execution at global companies, Beer is set to complement Zscaler’s business strategy.

CEO, Chairman, and Founder of Zscaler, Jay Chaudhry, expressed his excitement about Beer joining the board, stating, “Mr. Beer brings extensive expertise in leading complex finance organizations at large-scale enterprises across multiple industries and will be a valuable asset in helping advance Zscaler’s long-term vision and growth strategy.”

Beer most recently served as the chief financial officer of Atlassian Corporation, a leading provider of team collaboration and productivity software. He also currently sits on the board of Alaska Air Group and DocuSign, Inc. Beer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from Imperial College London and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Zscaler, known for accelerating digital transformation and providing secure connections for users, devices, and applications, aims to leverage Beer’s unique qualifications to bring new perspectives to the board.
